Privacy policy
The short version
Your chats never leave your browser. There are no analytics and no tracking. An account is only needed if you buy Pro.
What stays on your device
To organize your AI chats, Tidy AI reads the chat titles and links in the sidebar of supported AI sites (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Google AI Studio, DeepSeek, Perplexity, Grok and Microsoft Copilot), and the text of chats you open, so you can search them. Your folders, pins, saved prompts and that chat text are stored only in your browser's local extension storage. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Uninstalling the extension deletes them.
Your account (only if you buy Pro)
The free plan needs no account. To buy Pro you create an account with an email address and a password, so Pro works on any browser you sign into. We store the email, a hashed password, an optional authenticator-app secret (encrypted; used only to reset your password), your plan and its expiry date. Standard server logs (IP address, time of request) are kept for security and deleted regularly.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Whop (whop.com). Your name, email and payment details go to Whop, under Whop's privacy policy; we never see your card details. Whop tells our server which account the payment was for.
What we never do
We do not sell or share data, show ads, use your data for AI training, or read your chats on any server.
